Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, and finding the right person to support you matters. My approach to counseling is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have held my degree for nearly a decade, with professional experience supporting individuals in a variety of settings. I am currently a pre-licensed mental health clinician working toward full clinical licensure. I am also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), which has given me extensive experience helping people navigate stress, relationships, work-related challenges, life transitions, and mental health concerns.

I work primarily with adults and couples, with particular areas of focus including anxiety, intimate partner violence, and first responder populations. I have a special appreciation for the unique challenges faced by first responders and their families, including the impact of high-stress professions on mental health, relationships, and home life. I help clients better understand their emotions, manage anxiety and stress, build confidence, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.

I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—not tell you how you should live it. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff, overly serious, or feel like another place where you have to “have it all together.” Life is messy, relationships are complicated, and sometimes our brains are determined to make things much harder than they need to be.

Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and a life that feels more manageable and meaningful—with practical tools, honest conversations, and maybe a laugh or two along the way.
